What is Telegram Stars?
Telegram Stars is Telegram's built-in digital currency for purchasing goods and services in bots. You buy Stars from inside the Telegram app — no external payment processor required. WeatherSpotAI Bot and Community tiers are Stars-only.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Telegram bot's 30-day trial starts automatically when you open the bot — no card, no signup. API tiers use Stripe and will require a card when your trial ends.
What's the H3 spatial cache?
Coordinates are snapped to Uber's H3 hex grid at Resolution 6 (~3.2km cells). Your exact location is never stored — only the hex cell identifier. This shared spatial cache means sub-100ms responses for the vast majority of requests.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes. For the bot, you can subscribe/cancel anytime in Telegram. For API tiers, changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Your saved data and favourites are always retained on our servers — you'll regain full access the moment you resubscribe.
